Go ahead, laugh. How could someone so excited about a company not know what the company is about? Truth be told; many people interviewing for jobs simply are looking to take the easy road and learn little to nothing about the prospective employer's products, company, competitors, or industry. I'm baffled why an interviewee wouldn't take the time to learn everything they could about a prospective company, particularly in today's environment where most of the information is just a couple of e-clicks away.
This issue's article talks about the importance of learning all you can in preparation for a job interview and showing your interviewer why you are head over heels above the competition. It's not about getting along with doing the minimum; it's about getting your interviewer to fall in love with you.
