Issue 2009-09 - Babbling is for Babies, Not Interviews
So you get invited to the party and are able to land an interview. You've already piqued enough interest to get into the hiring manager's office. Now's the time to inch the hiring manager closer to a "yes" decision. One deal-killer is when an over-zealous or nervous candidate starts babbling away during the interview in an attempt to convince the hiring manager that he or she is the one for the job. I've seen way too many candidates that have great skillsets completely blow it during the interview because they just couldn't control their mouth. Sheesh.
